In 2014, Pan Pacific Interiors (PPI) emerged as a vision, an aspiration to transform living spaces into personalized sanctuaries. However, the path to success wasn’t a straight line; it was a journey marked by resilience, overcoming challenges, and celebrating triumphs.
2014 – The Genesis:
Incorporated in 2014, the initial year was a test of patience and determination. It took nearly a year to set up, grappling with power and equipment challenges. This period laid the foundation for the unwavering spirit that defines PPI.
2015 – Inaugural Triumph:
The year 2015 marked our first complete year in business. It was a foundational year, a testament to our commitment to delivering top-notch quality and service. Challenges of setup became stepping stones to building a robust enterprise.
2016 – Expanding Horizons:
Buoyed by the achievements of the previous year, 2016 witnessed a phase of expansion and growth. Participation in the David International Fair garnered tremendous response, setting the stage for a trajectory of success.
We extended our physical presence by adding new offices to the mezzanine area, creating space for a full showroom at our David manufacturing plant. The expansion of our sales area saw successful projects in Boca Chica and Bocas del Toro, solidifying our footprint in the region.
Adding a feather to our technological cap, we introduced a computerized edge banding machine to our shop in April 2016, enhancing our manufacturing capabilities.
2017 – Surpassing Projections:
In 2017, meticulous efforts culminated in the creation and implementation of detailed procedures and company systems. The year witnessed a surge in sales, surpassing the projected targets and establishing PPI as a force to be reckoned with in the industry.
2018 – Sustained Excellence:
Continued growth in 2018 saw increased sales across all facets of the company. The expansion continued as we broadened our sales region, now covering the entire Chiriqui Province, Boca Chica, Bocas del Toro, Coronado, Pedasi, and surrounding areas. Once again, we surpassed our sales targets, underscoring our commitment to sustained excellence.
2019 – The Pinnacle of Success:
2019 emerged as the pinnacle of our success story. Amidst exciting developments, we introduced a new automated Panel Saw, upgraded our site equipment, and expanded our team to support the surge in sales.
2020 – Navigating Challenges with Innovation:
Despite the unprecedented challenges brought about by the pandemic in 2020, PPI demonstrated resilience and innovation. While adapting to the new normal, we seized the opportunity to enhance the showroom experience for our clients. The new interactive showroom, finalized during shutdowns, became a testament to our customer-centric approach.
This showroom, strategically located on the Pan American Hwy at the Swiss Plaza, offers a hands-on experience for clients. It allows them to explore fully functional kitchen displays, envision various cabinet and quartz countertop combinations, and experiment with specialty hardware options. The showroom also showcases a range of flooring, ceiling, and wall finish options, providing clients with a comprehensive view of our offerings.
The positive reception of the showroom enabled us to expand our offerings further. We introduced sinks, faucets, window blinds, and appliance support, creating a holistic and turnkey experience for our clientele.
2021 – Strategic Growth and Partnerships:
Building on the momentum of the previous year, 2021 was marked by sustained growth and strategic partnerships. PPI ventured into construction management and site coordination services, further diversifying our portfolio to provide comprehensive solutions to our clients.
2022 – Dedication to Excellence:
In 2022, PPI remained steadfast in its commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The addition of a dedicated Production Manager underscored our commitment to quality control and streamlined operations. Plans for expanding production facilities and acquiring new equipment signaled our continued investment in delivering exceptional products and services tailored to our customers’ needs.
2023 – Transformative Expansion:
In 2023, PPI embarked on a transformative journey of expansion and enhancement to elevate our service offerings and operational efficiency. This pivotal year saw the doubling of our production facility, a strategic move aimed at meeting the increasing demands of our valued customers.
As part of our commitment to customer satisfaction, significant improvements were made to the infrastructure within the production areas. The cabinet and stone departments were separated to optimize workflow and enhance processing systems and procedures. In the cabinet department, new Biessa edge processing equipment was introduced, while the stone department welcomed a new mitering and polishing machine, ensuring precision and quality in every project.
Additionally, the company added an affiliate location in Panama Oeste to allow us to better serve clients in and around that area.
Building on the success of 2023, PPI is poised for continued growth and expansion in 2024, with a steadfast focus on meeting and exceeding the evolving needs of the home renovation industry.
