How Pan Pacific Interiors Went from a Single Saw to a Regional Brand
“We didn’t set out to build a company. We set out to solve a problem: people were tired of cookie-cutter cabinets and rushed jobs that felt nothing like home.”
Back in 2014, we were a small crew with big dreams and an even bigger challenge. The homes around us were filled with good intentions but underwhelming interiors — kitchens that didn’t flow, closets that didn’t fit, and finishes that didn’t hold up. So we started something new.
We called it Pan Pacific Interiors (PPI). And we’ve been crafting dream spaces ever since — one honest build at a time.
🛠️ Our Journey (So Far)
2014: The Leap We opened our doors in Chiriquí, Panama, with a handful of tools and a wild belief that we could do things differently. We didn’t have a showroom or a fancy team — just grit and a promise: every project we touched would reflect the person living in it.
2015: Our First Big Year That first full year tested everything. But it also proved something powerful: when you lead with quality, people notice. Word spread, and we went from a few jobs a month to a full pipeline built on referrals.
2016–2017: Going All In We took a risk and built our first real manufacturing space. Not glamorous — but ours. We brought in edge banding tech to deliver tighter lines and better finishes, and began working on custom cabinetry for entire homes. Boca Chica. Boquete. Beyond.
2018–2019: Growing Pains, Growing Gains We expanded into Coronado, Pedasí, and other parts of Chiriquí. We invested in a panel saw to increase output. That year, we also hit our sales goal — and finally exhaled. Then, in 2019, we upgraded again: new site layout, better workflow, and a focus on detail that made our projects stand out.
2020: When Everything Changed The pandemic hit. Projects paused. Uncertainty was everywhere. But instead of retreating, we doubled down — opening our first-ever showroom inside the Swiss Plaza on the Pan American Highway. This wasn’t just a display space — it was a conversation starter. We let clients touch, test, explore, and visualize. That move changed the game.
2021–2023: Evolution Mode
- Brought in a dedicated Production Manager to tighten systems.
- Launched new finishing and polishing tools.
- Doubled our facility size.
- Opened an affiliate location in Panama Oeste.
We weren’t just growing — we were growing up.
2024: A New Chapter in Craft We installed a state-of-the-art press machine, the first of its kind in the region, allowing for even more refined cabinetry and custom finishes. Big leap. Big payoff.
